why REGGAETON MADE IN HAVANA IS THE SOUNDTRACK OF CUBA’S NEW REVOLUTION

In the spring of 2017, my partner (and reporting partner) Alfredo Chiarappa and I spent a few weeks in Havana documenting Cuba’s newest underground revolution: Reggaeton. The story was published in print on Marie Claire Italy, Marie Claire South Korea and Marie Claire Taiwan.

We’ve since also been working on a feature documentary, La Calle Pura, about a teenager who dreams of becoming Cuba’s next Reggaeton star. You can watch the teaser here.
